Casten voted for Ayanna Pressley's amendment to H.R. 1, the Voting Rights Act, which would lower the voting age to 16.[33]

Casten is an outspoken supporter of abortion rights.[34][35]

Intriguingly, we observed an elevation of autoantibody against alpha-cardiac myosin heavy chain (MYH6), a component of the contractile system in cardiac muscle [48]. MYH6 has previously been shown to function as an autoantigen in myocarditis [49], and autoantibodies against MYH6 have been observed in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 [50]. Anand et al., recently reported that a variant of MYH6 has strong amino acid homology with the SARS-CoV-2 replicase polyprotein 1a/1ab [51]. Although vaccination with mRNA particles encoding for the S glycoprotein (which is not a replicase) could not directly explain this autoantibody elevation, this finding is intriguing and warrants further investigation. We show for the first time that this autoantibody is derepressed followed anti- SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and this finding can form the hypothesis of further mechanistic investigation into MYH6 protein biology. This could potentially reveal the pathophysiology of myocarditis linked to both natural infection and vaccination against SARS-CoV-2.

Despite millions of deaths and hundreds of millions infected, Biden's Defense Department just awarded a multi-year grant worth $3 million to EcoHealth Alliance, a long-time collaborator with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese military-linked research center believed to be involved in the laboratory origin of the COVID-19 virus.

That award is on top of a $3.3 million research grant to the EcoHealth Alliance from Anthony Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), given last September.

Bukreyev received his Ph.D. at the State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology "VECTOR" in Koltsovo, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia.

During the Soviet era, VECTOR was KGB-controlled and the nexus of the Soviet Union's biowarfare program, requiring Communist Party membership to be employed.

Bukreyev appears to have maintained his connection with the former Soviet biowarfare center, shown in a 2014 video giving a lecture at VECTOR.
